PURPOSE:To make it possible to fully secure mechanical strength and the intervals of mounting and dismounting operation by providing an inclined part having a uniform grade or a stepped part projecting in the inward direction on the skirt bent part of a shadow mask while ranging the whole periphery. CONSTITUTION:In a shaping shadow mask 3A, an inclined part 3d having a uniform grade is formed on the bent part of its skirt part 3b while said inclined part 3d is formed ranging on the whole periphery of the shaping shadow mask 3A while having the almost equal plate thickness to the shadow mask effective surface 3a and its skirt part 3b. Thereby, the assembly strength of the shadow mask 3A is reinforced so as to reduce deformation generated by contacting with the other peripheral members when mounting and dismounting shadow mask assembly in the manufacturing process. Further, when mounting and dismounting the combination on a panel 1 in the arrow direction A-A', the operation tolerance intervals between a panel pin 6 planted on the panel skirt part 1a and itself can be taken widely enough. |
