An auxiliary circuit for adjusting the time-constant of electrical apparatus, such as that of a relaxation oscillator having resistor-capacitor time-constant circuit elements. The adjustment is maintained while an electrical adjusting signal is present. This biases a transistor into conduction and places a second resistor in parallel with the basic resistor of the time-constant circuit, thereby reducing the time-constant. Alternate embodiments selectively allow plural adjustments, also adjustment of plural separate electrical devices.
