The metallic support (2) has the form of a flat wall, as e.g. in a casing which encloses the single plane circuit, and screens it from its surroundings. The substratum (3) is produced from ceramic, quartz, or similar material which permits small losses at micro-wave frequencies. On each of the two flat surfaces of the substratum (3), the circuit pattern (4) of copper, gold or other material with low resistivity is applied. The substratum (3) has an edge part (3a) which is completely free of circuit pattern. This edge part is inserted to the bottom in a recess (5) in the metallic support (2), the direction of insertion (P) being at right-angles to the surface of the support (2) to the single plane circuit (1). The recess (5) has a depth which is equal to a whole number multiple N of the half wavelength lambda/2 of the microwaves, and the insertion depth (D) is therefore also determined as N.lambda/2. |
