Elastic sealing ribs are applied in the window edge area to the immobile car window panes. Previously, this point of the window must be cleaned and pre-treated. For this purpose, different liquids are applied by means of an atomizer nozzle (2) and then wiped off. The wiping occurs, for example, by means of a felt pad (18) which, for example, is changed per window pane for a new one. Atomizer nozzle (2) felt pad (18) and a support roller (12) intended for supporting the window pane (1) are seated on a rocker (11) which can be swivelled transversely to the direction of movement of the device along the window edge. The rocker (11) is also swivellable about a vertical axis (24) with change of direction along the window edge. By means of the felt pad (18) the spray film is wiped away without spraying and by means of the rocker (11) the felt pad (18) and the atomizer nozzle (2) can be guided along even a contorted shape of the window surface without a special complicated control. <IMAGE> |
