PURPOSE:To attain interchangeable reproduction of a digital signal with high quality at a required transmission frequency by controlling a reproducing rotating speed in response to a sampling frequency of the digital signal recorded compositely with an analog signal. CONSTITUTION:Disc information of different sampling frequency depending on the scanning line number fed from a terminal 23 of a player section 15 is discriminated by a microprocessor 21 and a switch 24 is changed over by disc information. A variable frequency divider 39 of an adaptor section 16 is controlled depending on the discriminated output of the processor 21, a clock in response to disc information is generated from a voltage controlled oscillator 38 and a digital signal demodulation circuit 40 is controlled. On the other hand, a frequency division output of a frequency divider 43 or 44 is applied via the switch 24 as a speed control reference signal, the disc rotating speed is controlled selectively via a motor 18 in response to the information form and the digital signal is reproduced with high quality at a required transmission frequency. |
