PURPOSE:To decrease the number of laminated thin films and to improve the yield of manufacture by using the magnetic circuit of a read converter as part of the magnetic circuit of a write converter. CONSTITUTION:A substrate insulating film 24 is formed on a base body 23, ad a lower magnetic film 25, the 1st conductor coil 27, and the 1st upper magnetic film 29 are formed thereupon to constitute the read converter 21. The magnetic films 25 and 29 are coupled together magnetically at their rear end parts to form a magnetic circuit. The 2nd conductor coil 32 and the 2nd upper magnetic film 34 are formed on this converter 21 to constitute the write converter 22. Therefore, the magnetic circuit of the read converter 21 is used as part of the magnetic circuit of the write converter 22, so the number of laminated thin film is decreased. Consequently, the process of manufacture is simplified and the yield of the manufacture is improved. |
