<p>PURPOSE:To easily update and modify software by writing a control program in the 1st memory and transferring it to the 2nd memory in power-on operation, and starting the operation of the numerical controller. CONSTITUTION:The numerical controller 1 is equipped with a display device 2, operation button 3, logical unit 4a, etc., and this unit consists of a subsystem 8, bubble memory 10 as the 1st memory for storing a control program, a work program, etc., RAM memory board 11 as the 2nd memory, and CPU board 12 which has a DMA controller 14 for writing data obtained through an acoustic coupler 13. Then, when the power source is turned on, the control program is transferred from the 1st memory 10 to the 2nd memory 11 and subsystem 8 and the operation is started. Further, data passed through a telephone circuit 15 is written in the 2nd memory 11 and also transferred to the 1st memory 10 at intervals of a specific amount to rewrite the control program.</p> |
