<p>PURPOSE:To prevent an input part from malfunctioning by detecting pressure applied to a transparent plate and making a signal from a touch panel ineffective unless the detection signal is inputted to a signal processor, etc. CONSTITUTION:The image input and output device consists of a noncontacting type touch panel input part 10, a light emitting and transmitting element driving circuit 20 and a photodetecting and receiving element signal processing part 30 connected mutually respectively, an input control part 40 to which said circuits 20 and 30 are connected, a display element 50 and its driving circuit 60, a signal processor 70 to which the input control part 40 and display driving circuit 60 are connected, and a pressure detecting element 90 provided corresponding to the transparent plate 80 and its control part 100. Consequently, even when a user moves his or her finger in the touch panel 10 before making a final indication, the pressure detecting element 90 detects the transparent plate 8 being pressed and the signal from the panel 10 is not regarded as effective unless the detection signal is inputted to the signal processor 70 or input control part 40, thereby preventing malfunction.</p> |
