PURPOSE:To work the terminal of an optical fiber cable uniformly with less variance by working this terminal by a machine. CONSTITUTION:An index table 9 which can be rotated at intervals of a prescribed time is provided on a base 8, and a clamp 10 is provided in the peripheral direction of this index table 9, and a PVC sheath stripper 11, a reinforcing fiber layer cutting device 12, a terminal cutting machine 13, a nylon jacket stripper 14, a precoat removing device 15, and a water washing device 16 which perform successively a series of works of stripping of a PVC sheath 6, cutting of a reinforcing fiber layer 5, adjustment of stripping, stripping of a nylon jacket 4, and removal of a precoat 3 of an optical fiber cable 7 held by the clamp 10 are arranged on the base 8 to face the clamp 10. |
