PURPOSE:To easily and reliably attach a film, by a method wherein the outer periphery of a columnar body having an adhesive agent layer is embraced by a flexible film, the two edge parts of the superposed films are nipped by a nipping means, and the columnar body is tightened by winding the films around the nipping means serving as a core body. CONSTITUTION:An adhesive mass layer 14 is formed on the outer periphery of the portion to be protected of a steel pipe pile 10, and a flexible film 16 is attached to the pile in a way that the pile 10 is embraced by the film. Two open edge parts 16A of the films 16, superposed in a manner than hands are put flat together, are inserted through a slit 22 of a core pipe 20, and after an adhesive agent 24 is coated on the outer surface of a part 16B of the film 16, the two open edge parts of the films 16 are reeled in as the core pipe 20 is turned clockwise, and this causes the pile 10 to be tightened by means of the reeled-in films 16. Thereafter, the outer peripheries of the films 16, tightened by a string, are left to stand, and after the adhesive agent 24 is cured, the string is untied for removal. |
