The aspiration means (1) comprises an aspirator vessel (11) with an at least partially evacuated inside and a connection (17) for detachable connection of a drainage line. The connection (17) is formed by an attachment (11d) moulded onto the lid of the aspirator vessel (11) and by a rubber-elastic sleeve (31) mounted in the attachment. Clamped in the passage (31b) of the sleeve is a sealing element (33) which consists of a dimensionally stable ball and seals the passage (31b) in a vacuum-tight manner. When the drainage line is to be connected in fluid terms to the inside of the aspirator vessel (11), an end portion thereof is inserted so far into the sleeve (31) that it pushes the sealing element (33) out of the passage (31b) into the inside of the aspirator vessel (11), by which means the passage (31b) is cleared. In this way it is possible for one person to connect the drainage line quickly and simply to the connection (17), in a leakproof and sterile manner, and to clear the passage. |
