PURPOSE:To prevent the gathering of water on the surface where a compound is injected using a simple constitution as well as to improve the moisture-proof property of the titled stabilizer by a method wherein a stabilizer element is placed in a cylindrical case on which a hole is blocked up with a punched out piece, a compound is injected in such a manner that the face of compound intersects with the punched out piece, and the punched out piece is removed after it is hardened. CONSTITUTION:A punching work is performed on the case blank plate 1 having side faces 1a-1d, a notched part 2 is formed on the upper and the lower parts of a side wall 1a and, at the same time, a mounting hole 3 is formed at the lower and the upper parts of the side wall 1c. After a small hole 4 is formed at the upper part of the side walls 1b and 1d by performing a punching work, the hole 4 is blocked up by pushing in a punched out piece 4a. The case blank plate 1 is wound around, a case 5 is formed by welding the polymerized part of the side walls 1a and 1a, and a bottom plate 6 is airtightly adhered to the aperture located at the lower part. A stabilizer element 7 is placed in the case 5, a polyester resin compound 8 is injected therein, said injection is stopped at the point of time when the surface 8a of the compound reaches the hole 4. After the compound is hardened, the punched-out piece 4a is removed from the hole 4, and the stabilizer for a discharge lamp is obtained. |
