<p>PURPOSE:To forecast the fracture of a gas adsorber filled with an adsorbing agent at a high accuracy, by measuring the weight of a subject gas adsorbed by an adsorbent. CONSTITUTION: A gas adsorber is made up of a body section 3 having a gas introduction tube 1 and a gas discharge tube 2 and a support base 4 and the body section is filled with an adsorbing agent 5. The adsorbing capacity of the adsorbent is quantitative in substance, if the adsorbent and the gas to be adsorbed is identical. Therefore, the weight of the subject gas adsorbed upto the fracture the apparatus is measured beforehand to set the reference weight based on the weight measured. When the weight of the gas adsorbed by the adsorbent is measured continuously with a weighing base 8 containing a load cell and when the adsorbent adsorbs the gas equivalent to the reference weight, an alarm means 10 is energized with a control section 9 to find the fracture of the apparatus preventively.</p> |
