PURPOSE:To perform proper processing by accurately grasping the printing state of a picture pattern part even if density difference is generated between the picture pattern part and a printing control scale, by mounting a detection apparatus for measuring the densities of the printing control scale and picture pattern printed on printing paper in a wet state. CONSTITUTION:A picture pattern, a printing control scale and a timing mark are printed on printing paper 3 as a stand 7 is moved. When the timing mark is detected along with this printing by a timing sensor 200, measurement is started by a data detection apparatus 13 and succeeded when the timing mark is detected. The data detection apparatus 13 outputs a signal based on the intensity of the reflected light from the printing paper 3 and amplifies the said signal to convert the same to density data. This data is changed over to the picture pattern part and the printing control scale 11 on the basis of the timing mark by a change-over circuit and the average density value of the picture pattern is compared with the preceding one. The density data is discriminated by the measurement of the printing control scale. |
