PURPOSE:To obtain an endless belt-like photosensitive substance based upon a simple and economical dipping process and having a uniform photosensitive layer having no unmatched part at a joint part or the like by fixing and holding an endless belt-like supporting body so as to press it from the inside to the outside to produce the photosensitive substance. CONSTITUTION:A rubber member 2 has a frange 2a at its opening end and is fixed on a metallic base material 5 at the flange 2a part with fittings 4 and a sealed room 6 is formed on the inside of the rubber member 2. A lead pipe 8 for leading a pressure medium such as water and silicone oil stored in a tank 7 into the sealed room 6 and a recovery pipe 9 for recovering the lead pressure medium again to the tank 7 are inserted into the sealed room 6. When the pressure medium is delivered into the sealed room 6 by a pump 10 arranged on the way of the lead pipe 8, the rubber member 2 is uniformly expanded in the radius direction and the supporting body 1 is held so as to be tightly adhered to the external surface of the rubber member 2. Under said state, the supporting body 1 is dipped into a photosensitive layer forming material 12 stored in a dipping tank 11 together with the rubber member 2, so that a required photosensitive layer can be formed on the external surface of the supporting body 1. |
