PURPOSE:To obtain a picture of a large area without the generation of blocking and uneven density by arranging plural wire electrodes in parallel at equal intervals so as to be opposed to a carrying surface on which an electrostatic latent image is carried and leading a toner clound between the carrying surface and the electrode to develop the latent image. CONSTITUTION:The wire electrodes 6 are arranged in parallel at equal intervals oppositely to a pattern electrode 1 consisting of a negative glass 22, a metal evaporation film 3 a mylar 4 and an aluminum evaporation film 5. The toner clound is led between the pattern electrode 1 and the wire electrodes 6 to develop the latent image on the pattern electrode 1. Since the wire electrodes 6 are used, blocking is not generated as compared with the use of mesh electrodes, and because the wire electrodes 6 can be easily kept in parallel with the pattern electrode 1, a picture of a large area can be developed without the generation of uneven density. |
