<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the decrease in the quantity of microorganisms owing to intake of natural type microorganisms and to obtain a waste water treating agent having high activity by flocculating activated sludge to flocs by using a flocculating agent and containing and fixing the formed flocs into a polymer gel. CONSTITUTION:The flocculating agent is added to the activated sludge to flocculate the same to the flocs. The result flocs are contained and fixed into the polymer, by which the treating agent for waste water is produced. The flocs are preferably made to >=100mum size. The fixation of the flocs is executed by mixing the flocculating agent and polymn. initiator with a soln. contg. a monomer such as acrylamide, crosslinking agent, polymn. accelerator, etc., and effecting polymn. reaction. Known methods such as radical polymn., radiation polymn. and redox polymn. are usable for the polymerizing method according to the properties of the monomer.</p> |
