<p>PURPOSE:To attain the tool data management having close relation with a machine tool by managing decentralizingly a tool data to plural processing cells so as to relieve load of a central management system. CONSTITUTION:When a production schedule is inputted from a host equipment to a central management system 101, a computer 101a of the system 101 prints out a tool difference indication list based on the production schedule and a tool file recorded in a magnetic disc device 101d. Then the management system 101 obtains a tool at each machine tool according to the production schedule to form a tooling list, a tool number of a tool not displayed on a machine tool, a magazine number representing the accommodated position, a pot number and an old tool number of the allocated position and they are outputted as tool conversion indication information. Thus, the operator removes unnecessary tools from each pot and loads a prescribed tool. Then the tool data of the mounted tool is registered in a cell controller. Then the system 101 transmits the control instruction data to each processing cell in a prescribed transmission format via an LAN 102.</p> |
