PURPOSE:To prevent malfunction due to a noise, static electricity, etc., and improve the reliability of the copying machine by taking a fault diagnosis again. CONSTITUTION:When a switch SW1 for power-on operation is turned on in a step n1, a step n2 is entered to diagnose an abnormal state and perform processing. A warm-up cycle starts in a step n3, abnormal diagnosis and processing are performed in a step n4, and then a step n5 is entered to complete the warm-up cycle and indicating that copying operation is ready on a ready lamp K1. Abnormal state diagnosis and processing are performed in a step n6 and it is judged in a step n7 whether a print switch SW2 is turned on or not; when the print switch SW2 is not turned on, a return to the step n5 is made again. A step n8 is entered when the SW2 is turned on and abnormal state diagnosis and processing are performed; and a copy cycle is finished in a step n9 and abnormal state diagnosis and processing are performed. Then, a return from a step n10 to the step n5 is made to perform a series of operations. |
