PURPOSE:An inexpensive feed that contains crushed bamboo or a mixture thereof with other feed, thus having good nutrition and showing good effect to promote the growth of domestic animals. CONSTITUTION:The objective feed is obtained by utilizing crushed bamboo such as MOSOUCHIKU or a mixture thereof with other active ingredients. The crushed product can be directly used as such, but usually the product is steamed under normal or high pressure to increase its digestivity. Or further, a microorganism producing cellulase is inoculated to the steamed product to hydrolyze cellulose into readily digestive substances. Further, a bamboo powder can be saccharified with an acid or alkali to increase its calorie. |
