A method for the deployment of an extended, box-shaped building element including one of two opposite side pieces with enclosed cavities. The facing side pieces are on their inner surfaces equipped with lengthwise tracks, whereby a plate-shaped distance element equipped with a protrusion which goes in to the track between the two side pieces. During manufacturing, boards or similar, designed to form the building unit's side pieces, are placed in pairs in their longitudinal direction and deployed at reciprocal distance with the inner surfaces facing each other in a location in which the plate-shaped distance elements are placed in between the boards of the incoming pair. When the boards are leaving said location, they are pressed in the direction of each other in order to bring the distance elements' protrusion in to play in the track on the inner surfaces of the boards. The invention also involves a machine for the execution of the method as well as the manufactured building unit.<IMAGE> |
