PURPOSE:To surely eliminate received pulses by the luminous sprectrum of a fluorescent lamp at a low power consumption, by sending pulse signals having a prescribed or wider pulse widths out of received pulses and cutting off pulse signals having pulse widths narrower the prescribed one. CONSTITUTION:A transmitting circuit 16 pulse-position-modulates a code signal and transmits the signal towards a receiving circuit 17 after converting the signal into an infrared-light signal. Upon receiving the infrared-light signal, the circuit 17 sends the signal to a pulse width discriminating circuit 19 after converting the signal into a received pulse signal. The circuit 19 discriminates the pulse width of the received pulse signal from the circuit 17 and sends received pulse signals having a prescribed or wider pulse widths to a decoder 21 and cuts noise pulses from a fluorescent lamp, etc., having pulse widths narrower than the prescribed one. The decoder 21 demodulates the sent received pulse signals and generates and outputs the original code signals. |
