PURPOSE:To eliminate the blocking and a bridging phenomenon of toner with relatively simple constitution and supplement toner smoothly by providing a toner supplementing roll which has a magnet roll, a vibrating plate made of a magnetic material nearby the internal wall of a toner container, and an agitating member nearby the toner supplementing roll. CONSTITUTION:When a shaft 12 is rotated by a driving source as shown by an arrow X, vibrating plates 5 and 5' vibrate as shown by arrows through the operation of the revolving magnetic field by magnetic poles of a cylinder magnet 13 and a paddle 8 also oscillates as shown by an arrow. Consequently, toner 18 on the slanting surface of a toner container 1 is vibrated gently through magnetic operation and toner 18 in the center of the toner container 1 is agitat ed, so the toner 18 even if causing a blocking and a bridging phenomenon is easily broken and supplemented smoothly. This vibrating and agitating operation is not based upon the impulsive motion of a mechanical means, so the generating of the blocking is prevent. |
