PURPOSE:To convert the I/O of a disk to filing I/O and to process the I/O of the disk in a predetermined manner by introducing a predetermined I/O macro-simulator to an operating system OS to which I/O macro to the disk is not supported. CONSTITUTION:A file-opening macro 2 of a user program 1 prepared on a first OS is processed through a file-opening macro processor 32 in an I/O macrosimulator 31 and the processed macro is applied to a file-accessing macro 23 in a second DS. The Access macro 23 comprises a file identifying element I which is converted in a file number corresponding to a disk 12 through the simulator 31 to be sent to the program 1. The file number is converted through a relative sector address 17 for a disk through a disk I/O macro 4 in the program 1 to be sent to the simulator 31. The I/O of the disk 12 is converted into I/O for the record 14 so as to be processed in a predetermined manner. |
