PURPOSE:To eliminate an incovenience of selecting the cut length in the copier of step cut type for feeding the roll paper by similarly indicating the copy size and the copy direction of an original document from the width of roll paper and the specified copy size. CONSTITUTION:Any one of paper width signal W, nearly W297, W420, and W594 is produced. The signal W is detected by paper width detector 4 or 5 in the detection circuit 6 or 7 selected by selecting switch 6' or 7'. This signal W is inputted into matrix circuit 11 via OR gates 8, 9, 10. Size selection signals A'1-A'4 from size selection switches SW1-SW4 are inputted into the circuit 11. The circuit 11 issues five kinds of cut length signal C from the paper width signal W and size selection signal A' when under the reguirements shown in Table 1, and they are delivered into the cut circuit. Another output of the circuit 11 causes the indicator device corresponding to the indicator board 14 to indicate. |
