PURPOSE: To apply antifreezing agent continuously with high efficiency onto trolley wire by contacting/separating the trolley wire and a coating brush automatically through lifting/lowering motion of operating frame. CONSTITUTION:The arm 9b of link 9 is rotated outward normally through a spring 17 to enlarge the gap against a coating brush 13 where the rear con tainer section 14 is fixed through a coupling metal 11, a stopper metal 15 and a screw 16 to the upper end of arm 9b. At the same time, an operating frame 1 is pushed up through the arm 9b to engage a rod 10 with the edge of an elongated hole 5 through the end wall 4 thus to hold the coating device in easily contactable/separatable state with the trolley wire. When applying antifreezing agent onto the trolley wire, a pulley 2 is contacted against the trolley wire from below then a base frame 7 is pushed up to lower the operating frame 1 against the spring 17. Then the arm 9b is rotated inward at the opposite sides to contact the coating brush 13 against the opposite sides of trolley wire. |
