PURPOSE:To inexpensively compose a conveying system by braking a truck with power supply rails for supplying drive AC power to the primary side traveling field generator provided in the truck. CONSTITUTION:The primary side magnetic generator 1 of a linear induction motor is provided in a truck 5, and power is supplied from 3-phase power supply rails 6a, 6b, 6c through current collecting brushes 7a, 7b, 7c to coils U, V, W of the generator 1. 3-phase AC currents are supplied from a commercial power source through the rails 6a, 6b, 6c and the brushes 7a, 7b, 7c to the coils U, V, W at normal operation time. On the other hand, a converter 8 is operated to flow a DC current from a DC no-break power circuit 9 through the rails 6a, 6b, 6c and the brushes 7a, 7b, 7c to the coils U, W at emergency stopping or power interruption time to operate a brake force. |
