PURPOSE:To obtain a poiseless printer without a spring clutch by using a seperately controllable motor which stops a type carrier at a desired position by a control of a signal pulse given to the motor. CONSTITUTION:Moving of a small carriage 19 and a printing paper 45 is concurrently performed by the first pulse motor 1, constituting a small and light weight hammer driving body (electromagnet) 3, and the driving body is moved by a second small pluse motor 2. Using a seperately controllable third pulse motor or a DC servomotor 4, a type shaft 18 is pivoted and a desired position of pivot-stop is selected, and the position of the type carrier 20 is selected, turning ON the hammer driving body 3 and printing is carried out with the hammer 9. |
