发明名称 FORMATION OF FLUORESCENT SCREEN OF COLOR PICTURE TUBE
摘要 PURPOSE:To remove unnecessary phosphor remaining at skirt parts of the panel easily and perfectly by employing wiping out process by a sponge together with spray washing process by a fan shaped nozzle. CONSTITUTION:Phosphor slurry is applied to the inner face of the panel 20 of a color picture tube. After it is exposed through shadow masking, unexposed parts are removed by developing to form a fluorescent screen 25. When unnecessary phosphor adhering to the inside, outside and the seals face of the skirt part of the panel 20 are removed after the development, a sponge 10 is kept in rotation by spouting water from a nozzle 50 and is moved along the side face, and water from a fan shaped nozzle 40 is sprayed strongly upon the tip of the sponge 10. Accordingly, it is possible to remove the remaining phosphor the fluorescent screen 25 completely, giving no effect on the fluorescent screen 25 and it is also possible to improve the quality of a picture tube.
