PURPOSE:To arrange so that a cassette may not run into a thermosensitive head by making the length of a protrusion of one ribbon guide longer than that of the other ribbon guide, both sticking out at right and left on the body of a cassette body. CONSTITUTION:The length of a protrusion of a ribbon guide 7 at left of the body 2 of an ink ribbon cassette is made shorter than that of a ribbon guide 8 at right. When a thermosensitive head 3 moves from a position shown in the figure to right for printing, printing can be performed with the thermosensitive head 3 not colliding with the right ribbon guide 8. Thus space can be utilized effectively and subsequently the mounting density of a thermotransfer printer unit can be increased. |
