PURPOSE:To inform a user of the position of a remote control device by giving function of generating audible sound at a fixed time interval to the remote control device. CONSTITUTION:When key selection information is inputted to a control information transmitting circuit 2 by depression of a matrix key 1 for inputting, a transmission signal is sent to an infrared diode 5 for transmission through a transmission driver circuit 4. The transmission signal to the transmission driver circuit 4 is branched and inputted to a timer reset circuit 9 to reset a timer counter 8 that counts output of an oscillation and frequency dividing circuit 7. The timer counter 8 starts a sound generating circuit at a point of time when counting is advanced to exceed preset counter value, such as 16hr or 32hr, from the reset timing, and generates audible sound such as buzzer sound etc. from a speaker 11. |
