发明名称 SYSTEM FOR AUTOMATICALLY CHARGING STORAGE BATTERY
摘要 PURPOSE:To make it unnecessary to periodically perform manual monitoring and controlling by automatically adjusting the charging voltage and current of a storage battery according to the specific gravity and the temperature of its liquid electrolyte. CONSTITUTION:A storage battery 5 has a liquid-electrolyte specific-gravity sensor 6 and a liquid-electrolyte temperature sensor 7. The specific gravity, the temperature and the terminal voltage of the liquid electrolyte of each storage battery 5 constituting a storage battery group 4 are constantly monitored. Then, the values of these parameters monitored continuously from the inception of the charged state of the storage battery 5 are input to the control circuit 3 of a charger 1 to automatically control a rectifying circuit 2 according to predetermined condition, thereby supplying optimum charging voltage and current to the storage battery group 4. Because of the above structure, it is unnecessary to periodically perform manual monitoring and controlling.
