PURPOSE:To prevent a starter gear from damaging, by constituting a controller so as to make a starter relay turnable to OFF automatically with an engine speed reaches the specified one showing a starting end, in time of engine cranking. CONSTITUTION:When an ignition switch 11 is turned to ON, an F-V concersion circuit 18 generating such voltage V as almost proportionate to frequency in an engine speed signal of an engine 16 is zero in its output voltage V because the engine 16 is not yet rotated, whereby a transistor T220 is turned on via a control circuit 21. Therefore, a starter relay 14 is excited and its contact 14b is closed. Next, when a starter switch 13 is turned to ON, a starter 15 is energized with a continuous rating current, and the engine 16 is cranked. And, the engine 16 is subjected to a complete combustion, and when the revolving speed reaches the specified one showing a starting end, the control circuit 21 inputting a higher output voltage of the F-V conversion circuit 18 turns the transistor Tr20 to OFF, demagnetizing the relay 14, whereby the starter 15 is stopped. |
