PURPOSE:To improve precision by calculating center lines of distributions of center values, peak values, and weighted mean values of respective echoes as to ultrasonic flaw detection data generate at a rear wave generation part and a defect, and calculating standard deviations in each value from plural center lines. CONSTITUTION:Center lines of distributions are calculated in a plane projection chart from the weighted mean value of data obtained by classifying center values, peak values, and heights by plural levels as to respective indication positions of output ultrasonic flaw detection data to obtain differences of the respective center lines, and a large/small decision on those differences is made. Then, standard deviations of respective indications from the center lines are calculated and a large/small decision on the standard deviations is mad.e Further, the small area standard deviation in indication at each part is calculated and technical constitution which calculation differences between small-area standard deviations and center liens is added to make a decision. Then, the standard deviation of each indication from the center lines is calculated as to the weighted mean value and a large/small decision on the standard deviation is made. Then, technical constitution which calculates differences between the small-area standard deviation of the indication at each part and the center line and the whole standard deviation and the center line is added to make a decision, thereby improving the precision. |
