PURPOSE:To obtain a cutting tool having a simple structure, a high machining accuracy and a high rigidity, by forming the cutting tool with an arbor which is made eccentric so that its axis is shifted from the axis of an arbor body and a cutting edge section fixed to the arbor. CONSTITUTION:A cutting edge section 11 is fixed by a screw to a cutting edge section holding part 10a formed in the lower section of an inversed spot facing arbor 10. Further, an arbor body 13 integrally incorporated with the arbor 10 has a substantially cylindrical shape. This body 13 is provided therein with a rotation check locking section 15 having a flat stepped part, for a rotary chuck. The axial centers of this arbor 10 and of the arbor body 13 are made eccentric from each other by a predetermined distance so that they are shifted from each other. Further, the body 13 is made movable back and forth, and left and right. Thus, the structure of the cutting tool may be simplified while the machining accuracy and rigidity thereof may be made high. |
