摘要 PURPOSE:To realize a horizontal deflection of an exhaust port flow at a wide angle without largely decreasing the flow amount by constituting the exhaust port side wall of an air conditioner of curved surfaces curved outwardly to form right and left guide walls and disposing drift vanes the curvature of which is reversible between both guide walls. CONSTITUTION:The flow in the vicinity of guide walls 8 adheres to the guide walls because the flow causes a Coanda phenomenon by drift vanes 6a in the vicinity of the guide walls 8 and 8. Hence, a wide angle drift becomes possible with a low pressure loss. On the other hand, the flow in the vicinity of the center of an exhaust port 5 spaced apart from the guide wall 8 is not affected by the side wall adherence effect but advances straight. In a case where the air conditioner is installed at the right-hand corner of the room, a rotary pin 6e is changed to be inserted into a fitting hole 9e2 at the center with respect to the drift vane 6 in the proximity of the right-hand guide wall 8a, while with respect to the drift vane 6 in the proximity of the left-hand guide wall 8b the rotary pin 6e is replaced to be inserted in a fitting hole 9e1. As a result, over the width direction of the exhaust port 5, it is possible to realize a straight line flow in the proximity of the right-hand guide wall 8a, a gentle left-hand deflected flow in the proximity of the central part and a large left-hand deflected flow in the proximity of the left-hand guide wall 8b with a small pressure loss.
