PURPOSE:To make it possible to manage the production control of fixed length wire materials and short fixed length wire materials, by retro-feeding ununiform length wire materials at the change-over point from the primary cutting of fixed length materials to the secondary cutting of short fixed length materials, and by lifting up short length materials to commonly sever the remaining short length materials after completion of cutting the other fixed length materials. CONSTITUTION:All wire materials are severed with a primary severing mode to a predetermined length, and since rolled materials 2, 6, 10 belong to a mode change-over point, these wire materials are retro-fed to a lifter device which lifts up short length materials 8b while the other wire materials are severed with the primary severing mode. At this position, since rolled materials 4, 8 also belong to the mode change-over point, the other materials are successively severed with the primary severing mode. With the repetition of these steps the first severing mode is completed. Then, of the short length materials which have been lifted up, those which have a common severing pattern and have the least number in the severing pattern of the primary severing mode just before, are lowered onto a table, and are severed to a fixed length in accordance with a secondary severing mode. When it reaches a point at which the severing pattern is altered, the severing is similarly repeated to complete the secondary severing which may be made under the control of production. |
