PURPOSE:To measure viscosity accurately, by transmitting the rotation of a servomotor, which is rotated at a constant speed, to a sample to be measured through a rotary shaft, electrically processing the change in resistance of a strain gage on the rotary shaft, and displaying the digital value of the torque from the sample to be measured. CONSTITUTION:At first, a correction factor setting mode is set by a function key on a key panel 19, and a shape measuring time and measuring number of times of a viscosity detecting part are set. The viscosity data of a standard sample, whose viscosity is known, are inputted by the key panel 19. By using the standard sample, the torque of the sample is measured. As a result, an operation control part 18 automatically computes the correction factor and stores the factor in a memory. After the initial setting, the function key is set to a measuring mode, and the viscosity of a sample is measured under the same condition. Based on the preset correction factor and the data of the sample obtained at this time, the viscosity of the sample is automatically obtained by the operation control part 18. The viscosity is displayed on a liquid crystal display part 16 in digital value. |
