PURPOSE:To prevent deflection of a center column, which is to be caused by difference in the machining load between coarse and finish processings, and to absorb vibration by equipping the bed and center column with supports. CONSTITUTION:An index table 2 and a center column 3 are installed in the center of the base 1, and a feed unit 4 and a nut runner 5 on the side face. A coarse, medium and finish processing unit 6-8 are installed on said unit 4, and a work set in a fitting tool 9 is processed. This bed and center column 3 are fastened by a cross-support 10 and a stay 11. The work clamped by said nut runner 5 is indexed by the table 2 and undergoes coarse, medium and fine processing, when possible deflection of the column 3 by the machining load at the time of coarse processing is suppressed by the cross-support 10 and stay 11, which will allow the fine processing to be performed in a better precision. |
