PURPOSE:To avoid giving troubles to an optical transmission line by switching the connection of a optical switch device by an optical switch controller when troubles occur in an electro-optical transducer, node processor or power source and connecting an incoming optical transmission line and outgoing optical transmission line to a through device. CONSTITUTION:An optical switch device 250 contains an incoming optical transmission line 201 and an outgoing optical transmission line 202, and is driven and controlled by an optical switch device drive signal from a optical switch controller 240, which contains trouble information from trouble detection parts 213, 223 and 233. When any of troubles is detected, said device 240 stops a signal to an optical switch device 250. In this state the optical switch device 250 becomes non-driven, and the signal on the incoming optical transmission line 201 is transmitted to the outgoing optical transmission line 202 by means of a through. Accordingly such troubles are eliminated that a power source is disconnected due to the trouble of a power source 230, the photoelectric transfer becomes abnormal due to the trouble of a light/electricity transducer 210, and an optical signal will not be transmitted due to the logical trouble, etc., of a node processor 220, or becomes an abnormal signal. |
