PURPOSE:To eliminate surplus calculation and effect successful collection of following earthquake observation data, by suspending calculation of hypocenter determination when it is judged to be outside the area subject to observation in charge. CONSTITUTION:Earthquake observation data by seismometer, sending apparatuses 11-1n, 21-2n are received by a receiving apparatus 30 and calculation is made for determination of the seismic center by an analyzer 40 equipped with interface circuit 41, processor 42, memory 43, etc. Further, basing upon comparison of set values through a processor during calculation, when the center is located outside the responsible are of observation, the calculation is suspended at this moment. Thus, surplus calculation is eliminated for successful collection of the following earthquake observation data. |
