PURPOSE:To obtain a ventilation fan capable of being used properly depending upon the cooking usage and of effectively utilizing a space on the wall surface on the back part of a range base by providing a blasting mechanism comprising an exhaust fan disposed at the upper part of the range and a suction part, and connecting a duct having a suction port in the proximity of the range to the suction part in a freely attachable and detachable manner. CONSTITUTION:When cooking in the range 40 is carried out using a pan 57, soot and waste gas are sucked into a duct 38 through a suction port 41. The soot and waste gas pass through a filter 43 and rise up in the duct 38, passing an elbow 25 via of a fan 17 for exhaustion and being discharged out oft he house through a pipeline duct 35. Because the duct 38 is connected to the suction part 37 of the blasting mechanism in an attachable and detachable manner, soot and waste gas generated at the time of cooking are sucked up efficiently from the suction port 41 so as not to contaminate the interior of the room with soot and exhaust gas, in the case of fitting the duct 38. Further, when the duct 38 is removed, contaminated air in the vicinity of the ceiling can be directly sucked up through the suction part 37 and can be discharged house. |
