PURPOSE:To obtain a ventilation fan capable of inducing soot and the like by means of a pent roof and of efficiently discharging the soot and the like by mounting the pent roof at the upper part of a suction port at the lower end of a duct suspended from a blasting mechanism disposed at the upper part of a range. CONSTITUTION:When cooking is carried out in the range, soot and waste gas are induced by a pent roof 46 and sucked into a duct 38 through a suction port 41, passing through a filter 43, rising up within the duct 38 and being discharged out of the house via the fan for exhaustion. When the height of a pan is changed, the pent roof 46 may be replaced to be hooked to a hanger 47 corresponding to the height thereof. As a result, soot and the like can be sucked efficiently into the duct 38 through the suction port 41. Further, it is possible to prevent the an from coming into contact with the pent roof 46 and hands during cooking from hitting the pent roof 46. |
