PURPOSE:To display instantaneously detailed information concerning a caller from the extension onto the whole screen of a CRT display by an special telephone answering party in the premises exchange. CONSTITUTION:When a telephone set 3A of a guest room calls a telephone set 311 of a front clerk, a central processing device 40 connects between both telephone sets as well as the ordinary connection through a call network 10, and the central processing device 40 knows that in the call telephone number, the telephone set is for a guest room. There, the central processing device immediately connects a signal line for a display device of a line circuit 21 and a signal line of a line circuit 20 through a channel network 10. Next, the central processing device 40 sends the called telephone number through a line circuit 21 to the compound terminal 31. The compound terminal 31 sends the number to a data base system 30 again. There, the data base system returns the telephone number, namely, information stored concerning a guest room number. The information is displayed at a CRT display 310 of the compound terminal 31 and a call receiving person of the front receives a guest who called, while the display 310 is watched. |
