Method and device for manufacturing bridges

A method and a device for manufacturing bridges is described, in which, starting from a production place behind a bridge abutment, prefabricated sections of the superstructure are shifted onto bridge piers. In order, in such a method or device, to be able to push the prefabricated sections onto the bridge piers in a less costly manner without them being exposed to bending moments, the sections are moved between the bridge piers and set down thereon in the form of individual segments having the length of at least one span of the bridge piers by means of a transport device having the length of at least two spans.
