PURPOSE:To obtain the titled thermal spraying material forming a waterproof glassy sprayed film having fine surface luster by pulverizing and classifying a glass base material contg. a specified amount of P2O5 besides barium phosphate as the principal component. CONSTITUTION:A two-component type glass base material contg. 40-70mol% P2O5 besides barium phosphate such as barium metaphosphate as the principal component is melted, solidified, pulverized, and classified to obtain a thermal spraying material forming a transparent and waterproof glassy sprayed film having fine surface luster. When about 0.01-5% transition metallic oxide such as V2O5, CoO or Fe2O3 is added to the glass base material before melting, a thermal spraying material forming a colored sprayed film having superior decorativeness can be obtd. |
