A description is given of a centrifugal grinding machine having a vertically upright container, which is mounted so as to swivel, and a rotating base. In order to improve the machining results in the case of said grinding machine, the container can be swivelled back and forth in a swinging manner about at least one transverse axis running transversely to the axis of rotation of the rotary plate.
