PURPOSE:To reduce the size without provision of second carry path by controlling such that the jammed paper is stored through function of a pair of rollers having different frictional force. CONSTITUTION:A pair of rollers 18, 19 concerning to selective feeding of paper while constructed such that the half tubular sections on the rotary circumferential face will have different frictional force are arranged in sorter 2 for matching the paper in selective feeding device of paper. Respective shaft is coupled through drive transmission device for performing drive and brake to a drive source of predetermined rotation. On the basis of a jam, signal from a paper jam detector in the sorter 2, braking is applied onto the rollers 18, 19 to store the following paper on the contacting section of said rollers 18, 19 while the jammed paper at the uppermost position. While control section is provided to feed out the stored paper sequentially through the rollers 18, 19 in selective sequence corresponding with the storing sequence. |
