A hazard warning lamp comprises a lamp body defined by a cylindrical housing 1 for an electric battery or cell 2 and a lens 4 mounted on the housing 1. Mounted within the lamp body is a lamp bulb holder 3 whose circular base 16 rests upon the rim of the housing 1. The base 16 has depending therefrom two resiliently mounted contacts 17 and 18 respectively to engage terminals 9 and 10 on the battery 2. The base 16 can rotate on the rim of the housing 1. Rotation of the base 16 is effected by a key 34 whose shaft 33 is engagable in a track in the base 16 by way of a slot 49 in the lens 4 to and this facilities the switching on or off the unit. <IMAGE> |
