The present invention concerns a reinforcement unit 2 intended to be used for making a so-called top reinforcement. Reinforcement units according to the invention can be laid out quickly and ensure minimum use of steel. The reinforcement units are very simple to produce since no welding needs to be carried out, and for this reason the cost is kept low. Because there is no welding, there is no reduction in the stability of the reinforcement bars. A further advantage is that no so-called spreader bars are needed for holding the bars at the right level above the form face, and no special spacer members are needed on which to lay the bars. Projecting outwards from a reinforcement bar, or a similar reinforcement element extending along the intended reinforcement, and towards a casting form 1 or other bearing member, there is a bent reinforcement support 5 which is formed by the end 4 of the bar etc., which is angled 6 sidewards in relation to the longitudinal extent of the bar. The reinforcement support 6 is formed by a branch bent out horizontally from the bar, and extending between the said branch 6 and bar 2 there is an upright 5 which is at an acute angle in relation to the branch 6, and bent in towards the bar to form an acute angle 7 between the upright 5 and the bar 2. <IMAGE> |
